LECTURES

There were no lecture classes on the 6th and 7th week, we were told to finish our project and call out to our own lecturer to have a consultation if there are any inquiries for the project.

Final Project

After finishing our data collection and proposal, we are needed to produce visual design outcomes related to our interpretation of the given theme. For our final project, we decided to create an infographic and an Instagram account.

First, we all created sketches for our infographic design.

We then had a consultation with Ms. Jinchi so that we can ask her which sketch is suitable for the incoming design outcome we are going to make. After having Ms. Jinchi's consultation session, we decided to use Luisa's sketch and proceed to the next step.

We then divided the task for each other. Azka and Luisa had to draw sketches for the design inside the infographic. After it is decided, the rest of the group divided the task to digitize the sketches in Illustrator. Then the infographic is finished by adding the rest of the elements. We all used the same color palette for this infographic.

After finishing the infographic, we then created our Instagram account.

We posted our infographic in our Instagram account and created short animations for each of the events during Nyepi and added more information. We posted the animation in the Instagram story.

FEEDBACK

Ms. Jinchi suggested Luisa's, Ivy's, and Azka's sketches for the infographic since they look more organic. Ms. Jinchi also suggested we make a video about us explaining the events in more detail since it is interactive. She recommended we create the videos instead of making a short animation.

REFLECTIONS

There was nothing different when we were making the third project. All of us worked together to finish the design. I would say that the group got more communicative at the end. We all agreed on the same idea for the design outcome and there was no conflict between us.

What are the 3 key things I have learned in this module this semester?

I learned that having a good connection with the group member can make communication easier. Then, understanding the assignment is also important. Lastly, working together as a group is the most important thing that I have learned in this module.

What are my strengths in this module?

I would say it will be my will to do the project more since it's a group project.

What are my weaknesses in this module?

My teamwork skill and communication isn't as good as the other members of my group.

How have I changed after taking this module?

I think I have become more communicative since this module is all group projects.

If I could improve this module, it would be...

I was a little bit confused about what can I do to make my project better. Maybe if I have a chance to make it better it would be communicate more with my groupmates and my lecturer so that my project can be made better.

Game Art / Art Bible

She showed us her sketch in Photoshop and taught us about panel arrangements, camera angles, compositions and etc.  After sketching several panels we then proceed to a lecture session with Ms. Anis. For the lecture, Ms. Anis presented us with how to make comics.  To startup making comics, we need to come up with an idea. To get ideas, we can get it from our experiences.
