LECTURES
Week 1
In our first week of this module, we were first introduced to the module by Mr. Asrizal while explaining to us what we have to do in this short semester by using the MIB. We were also told to join a group that is required so that we can do this module's projects. After that Mr. Charles gave us a lecture about netnography and ethnography.
Week 2
During our second week, Mr. Asrizal shared with us a presentation from our senior telling us what is the important part that we have to include inside our presentation to make a good presentation. Then, we watched a video by Ms. Jinchi about culture and us.
Week 3
On week 3, there were no lecture classes so we were assigned to finalize our project and submit our video by the end of the week.
INSTRUCTIONS
Project 1: Proposal
For our first project, we are going to start it off by making a proposal. Our proposal must contain the research problem, research questions, and also the culture chosen for the whole project. We also have to provide the concept of our chosen culture, provide rationale and ideas for the first project.
We first start off by sharing our own ideas for the culture we chose. I picked Pencak Silat for our culture idea, and the rest of my groupmates chose Nyepi and Malaysian culture. We all agreed to choose Nyepi for our final culture so that we can proceed to the proposal part.
We first created our proposal on Docs and put our theme, culture, research problem, rationale, and technical questions. We then consulted Ms. Jinchi about our current progress and receive feedback from her.
After getting feedback from Ms. Jinchi, we then need to make amendments to our proposal and finalize it. Upon finishing our proposal, we then proceed to create our presentation.

FEEDBACK
Ms. Jinchi said that we have to make changes to our rationale, remove the technical questions and add research questions and research objectives to the proposal, find a suitable concept and provide ideas by drawing sketches and also provide its reference.
Ms. Jinchi gave us feedback that we have to understand that the theme is given, which is Purpose. Ms. Jinchi said that the rationale explains quite clearly the reason for choosing this culture. There is potential in some of the ideas, such as a short animation/infographic of timeline and a short video that would meet the research objective of educating the public about Nyepi quite effectively (depending on the design outcome eventually). Visual references were present and it helps the assessor to have an idea how the proposed ideas would look like if materialized. Reference list and picture credits included. All members presented, some stalled in between sentences. The various celebrations within Nyepi are vaguely presented as if the presenters are just reading from a script. The proposal meets the requirements of the brief.
REFLECTION
When I first started this module, I was pretty confused about what kind of materials will the lecturers give to us. The first lecture was quite confusing for me and the project gave was quite hard to digest for me. Eventually, we get to work together in group and made things clearer.
