Project 1: Landing Page Design

For this project, I decided to recreate a website called croma.

I start making my microsite sketches.

After getting feedback, I will be using my third sketch for my landing page.

I then start making my landing page on Illustrator.

After getting feedback, I had to remake everything and lookup up some websites as my reference.

After getting another feedback I had to make a few changes to my website.

I then start making my slides for submission

FEEDBACK

Make the header section only one, use different colors, and look up other websites for reference.

Make the brand logos inline.

REFLECTIONS

When I first start to think about what kind of design I should use on my website, I was a little bit confused. But then when I start looking at Apple's design, it gave me a lot of inspiration on how I should make my website. Apple's website is very clean and nice so I really thought that their website is very cool. Upon finishing my design with Apple's website as my inspiration, I feel satisfied with how clean it looked.

We are also required to create splash arts of our characters. I first started making the line art for the characters I made throughout this whole module. She showed us her sketch in Photoshop and taught us about panel arrangements, camera angles, compositions and etc.  After sketching several panels we then proceed to a lecture session with Ms. Anis. For the lecture, Ms. Anis presented us with how to make comics.  To startup making comics, we need to come up with an idea. To get ideas, we can get it from our experiences. Good ideas never come from browsing google aimlessly.
