Thematic Matte Painting

This task requires the previous task to do it. So, I first imported the Photoshop file into After Effects and do the editing there.

For the edit, I tried to create a zoom in effect where the buildings goes to the screen and gets bigger. I added the light effect as well as the shadow effect. The shadow diminishes as the light gets brighter.

REFLECTIONS

The final assignment was video editing and I am pretty familiar with it. I had to remember how to use it but then I managed to do it in a short period of time. But I am not sure if the video edit is good. Overall this module is an interesting one because I get to learn a lot of stuff that I never heard before, so I had a good experience.

We are also required to create splash arts of our characters. I first started making the line art for the characters I made throughout this whole module. She showed us her sketch in Photoshop and taught us about panel arrangements, camera angles, compositions and etc.  After sketching several panels we then proceed to a lecture session with Ms. Anis. For the lecture, Ms. Anis presented us with how to make comics.  To startup making comics, we need to come up with an idea. To get ideas, we can get it from our experiences.
