Project 2: Framing

For this exercise, Mr. Martin asked us to take 8 picture shots.
  • Low angle wide shot
  • Frontal MCU (soft background)
  • Frontal MS (soft background)
  • Extreme close-up shot
  • Side angle MS (soft background)
  • 3/4 angling MCU shot (with blurry/soft foreground)
  • Close-up shot
  • Eye-level medium-wide shot

Project 2: Offline Editing

For week 2's editing exercise, Mr. Martin gave us clips and a video tutorial for this exercise. So I followed through the video and came up with this.

Project 2: Music Video

For this exercise, we are required to make a dance video based on the selected music and dance video that we picked. For this exercise, I and my groupmates picked "We're All in This Together" from High School Musical.

We followed these videos for our dance video and took shots that are required to be in the dance video. Here is my result.

Project 2: Production Shoot

On week 5, the class had a shooting exercise. We were given requirements on our shots. After finishing our photoshoot, we then proceed to the editing part to sync audio.

REFLECTIONS

The exercises done in this project isn't pretty hard to do, it's pretty easy to do it. The dance video however took the most time and effort for me to do it. Overall the tasks given in this project aren't so hard so its not so bad.

Game Art / Art Bible

We are also required to create splash arts of our characters. I first started making the line art for the characters I made throughout this whole module. She showed us her sketch in Photoshop and taught us about panel arrangements, camera angles, compositions and etc.  After sketching several panels we then proceed to a lecture session with Ms. Anis. For the lecture, Ms. Anis presented us with how to make comics.  To startup making comics, we need to come up with an idea. To get ideas, we can get it from our experiences. Good ideas never come from browsing google aimlessly.
