REFLECTION

What I have learnt in this module?
I have learned a lot of design principles throughout this module. I never knew the principles like gestalt theory, contrast, harmony, unity and etc. It's a whole new experience for me to get to know these new terms that I have never known about before. Throughout this module, I have been using the Adobe Illustrator software to create the designs, and I used the pen tool a lot. I feel like I have gotten used to the pen tool since I have been using it a lot of time, and I also learned other features that is inside the Illustrator software.

What did I enjoy the most?
I enjoy most on creating the design compared to listening to the lectures. I also like the visual analysis project the most since it is free for us to decide what kind of design we are going to make.

What did I not enjoy the most?
I don't really like listening to the lectures since I'm not really good at theories and memorizing stuff.

What have I learnt about myself through this module?
I have learned that making designs take a lot of time to think of and to create. Creating designs needs some inspiration and some references so that the design can become better but not copy others' design work.

What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
I would say that I have become more creative since I have been creating these kinds of designs. Back then I enjoy drawing a lot but I don't really do it too often but now creating a design is part of my daily basis so I could say that I become more creative. One thing that has not to change in my learning journey is my will to do my works. I have always been a lazy person and I procrastinate a lot. During the journey of this module, I can say that I have been slacking off a lot.

What could be improved in this module?
It would be good to give some tutorials on some ways to create the design. I wasn't really familiar with the Illustrator software when I first started this module.
